Welcome to Rhode Island Black Business Association
Welcome and thank you for visiting our website, your gateway to a world of resources. These resources will be essential to help develop and take your business and or career to the next level to build sustainable wealth. The Rhode Island Black Business Association (RIBBA) is one of Rhode Island's business advocacy organizations formed to advance business opportunities and economic vitality of busineses in underseved cities in Rhode Island. In addition, we are inclusive of all businesses and professionals.
RIBBA is an independent non-profit organization. Our membership is open to the public and includes both small storefronts, large corporations - no matter the size or type of business, and professionals. We provide proactive policy, aggressive advocacy and meaningful investor services that impact our members’ bottom line.
Our purpose is to leverage the region's core assets to find solutions in the areas that matter most to the business and community; quality jobs, quality growth and quality of life.
The Rhode Island Business Development Institute is a 501 (c) (3) charitable arm of RIBBA and provides financial support for RIBBA’s initiatives and programs by the way of grants and fundraisers
