Minorities Millennial Micro-Business competition
Rhode Island Black Business Association is pleased to announce the first Millennial Micro-Business competition.
This business competition is intended to support the efforts of ambitious young entrepreneurs who choose to generate income by starting and growing a business.
The RIBBA/MET SCHOOL/IEL MICROBUSINESS COMPETITION will provide minority millennials, 18 to 30, an opportunity to compete for up to 8 - 1% Interest Rate business loans of up to $3,000.
Applicants must be able to show proof that they have started and are running a Rhode Island-based business that is at least 3 months old.
To prepare for the competition, each business owner must agree to participate in a free RIBBA sponsored 12 hour Business BootCamp experience. The Business BootCamp will assist business owners to prepare for the competition. Successful completion and participation in the program is required in order to participate in the competition.
